This site is a little showcase into me and what i do. I've aimed to use this site, partly as an online CV. The benefit of this is that I can back up what I say in the written version.

On this site you will find:

Well as mentioned above, it gives me the opportunity to essentially show off my abilties.

With an ordinary CV, you don't get the opportunity to show the potential employer what you can really do, without either bringing a laptop to the interview, or submitting a disk with the CV.

But with using the World Wide Web, you are able to host your abilties, whichever they may be. At an absolute minimum, you are able to host your abilities online; be it programming, song writing, art and design etc. This is all well and good, but if your trying to sell yourself, then just sticking several files on an FTP site won't be enough.

In order to really sell yourself, you need to show exactly what you can do. If your a song writer, then take the time to learn some HTML and CSS, get yourself familiar with Photoshop and create a little website. That way, people can see you've got more than one talent!
